I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.

Former twice unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
